The equipment you carry on Search and Rescue missions will be the equipment that can save your life and the life of a lost subject. Having the gear alone isn't enough. You need to know how it works, how to maintain it and how to manage it during adverse weather conditions. We've taken what we've learned through experience and put together a list of equipment that meets the demands the seasons and weather instill upon us.

In this episode the Rapid Response Advanced Mobile Search and Rescue (RRAMSAR) unit covers water, shelter, fire craft, communications, navigation, lighting, and personal gear.

Episode #002 MOCC and The Three Sisters Mission

In Episode #002 Rapid Response Advanced Mobile Search and Rescue Unit (RRAMSAR) takes a trip to the top of the North Sister of The Three Sisters to assist the Department of Emergency Management's Radio Communications Division and the Pierce County Sheriff's Office to repair radio equipment at the tower site.

We also interviewed John Zwosta Project Coordinator with DEM's Radio Communications Division to take an in depth look at the Mobile Operation Command Center or MOCC Unit.
